Artificial Grass Around Pools — A Perfect Match for Perth | Landscaping Perth

Poolside Turf Artificial grass is increasingly popular around Perth pools. No mud, no grass clippings in the pool, no brown patches from chlorine splash, and always green for that resort-style look. Combined with professional pool landscaping, it transforms your outdoor space.

Installation Considerations Use turf with enhanced drainage for splash zones. Non-slip backing is essential around wet areas. Allow for pool coping overlap. Ensure turf is secured with extra pins near the pool edge to prevent lifting.

Heat Concerns Dark artificial grass can get very hot in Perth’s summer sun. Choose lighter greens and avoid dark brown turf near the pool. Water the turf briefly on extreme heat days to cool it — still uses far less water than maintaining a real lawn.

Cost and Next Steps Pool surround turf costs $80-$120/m2. Get quotes from Perth pool landscapers experienced with poolside artificial grass. Check our cost guide and explore pool paving alternatives.
